How do I know if my insurance will cover our visits?
Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions:
1. Does my plan cover preventive nutrition counseling or medical nutrition therapy with a registered dietitian? 2. Does my plan cover Telehealth? 3. If yes, how many sessions are allowed? 4. Do I have to meet my deductible first? 5. Do I need a referral from my doctor?
