The frequency and duration of sessions depend on your unique nutrition goals and needs. Typically, we start with weekly sessions, which may transition to bi-weekly, monthly, or even every six months as you progress. Alternatively, some clients prefer occasional check-ins, such as scheduling sessions when training for a race or when circumstances change. We tailor the number of sessions to what you need and want, ensuring a personalized and effective nutrition plan.
At my practice, I believe in building a foundation of trust and rapport with your child, creating a safe and supportive environment for their nutritional journey. My approach involves educating children about their bodies in a way that’s engaging and understandable, encouraging them to ask questions and explore their relationship with food. I integrate discussions about sports, performance, and the transformative years, recognizing the unique nutritional needs during these stages of growth. I promote an ‘all foods fit’ philosophy, teaching balance and moderation while fostering a positive attitude towards all types of foods. Additionally, I emphasize body acceptance and kindness, helping children develop a healthy relationship with their bodies and food choices. My goal is to empower your child to make informed and confident decisions about their health, well-being, and athletic performance.
